This course covers education in Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, France, Germany and Italy.


Overview

This session provides an overview of education in a number of European countries; focussing on secondary education, university entrance criteria and higher education. The session also looks at changes and trends in the context of reforms to the European Higher Education Area (including Joint Programmes).

Educational document examples and case studies are used to illustrate features of the education system, as well as group discussion to explore the issues that arise when evaluating qualifications from this region.


Target Audience

This course is recommended for university and college staff involved with entry to undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The course will also be useful for professional bodies, nationality and immigration solicitors, recruiters, work permit and visa agencies, careers / guidance advisers.
