Pathways for Skills Transfer: UK NARIC Trade Recommendations

The Pathways for Skills Transfer project aimed to create a model to identify and overcome existing barriers to the transferability of vocational qualifications for men and women working in the construction industry, thereby encouraging the free movement of skilled tradesmen and women.

Examining the construction industry, challenges, regulations and training in five countries highlighted that the construction industry and the occupations within varied significantly from country to country. Nevertheless the report provided information to facilitate transparency of relevant occupationally-oriented qualifications.
