Now available online is a new guide providing a summary of disruptions to exams and assessments for upper secondary qualifications globally during the COVID-19 pandemic.

International Secondary Assessment during the COVID-19 Pandemic (2020-2022): A Quick Reference Guide [PDF] is designed as a quick reference document for admissions teams, credential evaluators and those seeking to understand assessment for secondary qualifications awarded between 2020 and 2022.

There are two sections: the first is an index of exams and assessment, containing a table indicating whether final exams went ahead for over 150 qualifications from around 110 different countries and territories. For qualifications for which exams were held, the table also indicates whether the exams were delayed and whether assessment was adapted due to the pandemic. For countries where there were changes, a link is provided to the second section of the guide.

This second section sets out further information on any disruption. For example, when exams went ahead, if they were delayed, or a brief description of any adjustments that were made to assessment.

It complements other UK ENIC research and analysis of the disruption since 2020, which can be found on the 'Research' pages of the Ecctis website
